Exercise During Pregnancy
Exercise is important throughout your life because it helps build bones and muscles, gives you energy, and keeps your body and mind healthy. It is just as important during pregnancy because your baby benefits from your regular exercise, too. If exercise is already an important part of your life, you can probably continue exercising throughout your pregnancy. Always check with your healthcare provider before continuing any exercise to make sure you do not have any health conditions that may limit your activity. If you do not already exercise, your pregnancy is a great reason to start. Ask your healthcare provider to get you started on a safe and healthy exercise program.
